Christmas tag

This is my version of Tim Holtz's Christmas tag #12 2009. I used my Wishblade to cut out the tag. I used my Sizzix to cut the leaves. The roses where made from the instructions on Tim's website. I also used stickles on the roses to give them a shimmer.

Guess who sent me a Christmas Card

The White House sent me a Christmas Card. It was signed by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. I love it.

Birthday cards

These are some cards I made for my wonderful nieces. The first one I made the mats with my Wishblade. The title was also done with my Wishblade and the font Chopin Script. The second one I made with my sizzix and some rubber stamps.

Mother's day card

I made the card mats with my spellbinder nestabilities. The edging was done with my Martha Stewart punch. The stitching is done with a rubberstamp and the Happy Mother's Day stamp is from Marcella by K, they were stamps clearanced at Target.

Nontraditional Graduation card

I created this card with my wishblade with a file that I purchased at Paperthreads. The designer is Ginny's Happy Cuts and the file name is "Follow your dreams". The card has some strange colors it really isn't that bright. The red mat has images of items having to with graduation but the scan didn't pick them up.

Graduation card

I made the following graduation card with my Spellbinder nestabilities and the titles with my Wishblade. The font I used is called Diploma. I had to make the font a little thicker in Inkscape before I actuallly cut the titles.

Card Challenge

This is a card challenge on the SAS board. I cut the butterfly and brackets with my wishblade.I am sorry I don't know who to give credit for the beautiful butterfly. The edges on the mat I did with a Martha Stewart punch.

Stop Sign card

I made this card with my wishblade. The hexagon, hexagon mat and valentine border I created all by myself. I think I love my wishblade. I forgot all of the words were also done with my wishblade.

Inauguration Scrapbook Pages

I scrapped some pictures that I found on the web of the Inauguration. I used my Wishblade to create the titles and the star borders and star collage. The star borders and star collage are gsd files that I purchased from Carries Creations.

President Barack Obama

I still can't believe that Barack Obama is our new President. All I can say is YAHOOOOOOOO.

Got my Inaugural Invitation!!!!!!!!

I got my Presidential Inaugural Invitation this past weekend. I really want to go see Barack Obama become our next President but it is too far and I really don't like the cold. When me and my husband went to see him at Johnson field it was pretty packed but not like this is going to be. A woman that graduated from my High School and also goes to my church was invited to ride the Obama Express and watch the Inaugural. She was part of the Obama campaign ad. I am glad that she will get to go but I feel bad because she was chosen because she is in such a difficult place. She is a widow with two kids and has to two work jobs. Julie Anne Sanchez make us, Mustangs and New Mexicans proud.
